I agree it shouldn't be serious however, some others from the RT forum have had strong words saying it is serious today. With that in mind a specific language was called for.

There's not a lot of gray area there and it's not trolling to point it out. I'm not trying to run your life - I have my own to worry about. I do suspect that if the existing rule was upheld, the usefulness of the Off Topic forum and quality of posts would be improved.
We clearly don't agree on this, and that's OK. I'm entitled to my opinion, too. And, I was able to express it without bolded text, enlarged fonts and words in all caps. You know, adult-like
