That's right, as long as it's a MIG50 and not a MIG50H.
The "H" is a completely different circuit.

The 50 is a cool amp - I owned one for a while.
If you're looking for a vintage NMV kind of tone, they're a great balance between loud enough for shows and not-so-loud that they tear your head off.

They're also great mod platforms because the circuit is so simple.

That's what I thought. So what is the H then?
 
The H is more like a modded JCM800/JCM900SLX.
It's 4 gain stages and a plate-driven tone stack as opposed to 3 gain stages and a cathode follower (JCM800)
The MIG50 is 2 channels in parallel, one gain stage, a CF-driven tone stack (like a JTM45/SuperLead)

I'd like to get a 50 and do some mods to it. Seems like a good investment :thumbsup:
 
If anyone is looking for a MIG 50H, this one is for sale. Newer tubes, about 20 hours. Looking for $350 plus shipping.
