I don't use a noise gate with mine. I don't think its that noisy and I use single coils most of the time.

oh no I wasnt saying it's noisy at all, I was "trying" to say at gig/rehearsal volumes I need one for controlling feedback. :thumbsup:
 
I loved my XXX when I had it, great amp and versatility. Similar voicing to a 5150, but much brighter and you can get tons more out of it. The price indeed is a steal, someone needs to pick that up!

I REALLY like my Divinity and wouldn't really wanna trade it, but I'd LOVE to really put a XXX to the test with my gigging rig.
