ok, tried it, didn't like it, lol. The OD1 setting was actually pretty nice (for an avt with the gain that high), but problem is it sounds like an avt dialled in optimally, rather than a different amp, lol.

Didn't like od2, once the gain gets above a certain level, everything turns to crap, lol.

didn't try your clean setting, my complaint isn't with the cleans, anyway, the clean channel is probably the avt's best setting, lol.

Mine doesn't have the acoustic simulator, i have the 100.

Obviously i'm using a different guitar, etc., etc., but yeah, i'm not convinced. I think you should put the speaker money and proceeds from the sale of the avt into a new amp. though i guess if you got new speakers, you could maybe use them with a new amp if you eventually got one.

I'm not trying to be harsh, or take potshots at you, etc., i just don't want you to waste your money when there might be something better you could do with it. (As i said, i liked your od1 setting, problem is i liked to use that channel for a more classic rock, edge of breakup, crunch).

it sounds way better with the master cranked btw.

probably. I haven't been able to crank it with those settings, my next door neighbour is trying to sell his house at the moment, it wouldn't be fair

Far as i'm concerned, the whole point of a solid state is to get good distortion tones at low volumes. if you can't get that, you may as well just go tube, IMO. But i appreciate you giving me those settings.
