Splawn Guitars?

I have a Splawn guitar. And Chubtones, Charvels, a Luxxtone, Wayne… the Splawn is as good quality as any of them, but to me, the Luxxtone and especially the Wayne are just a smidge more to my liking. That Wayne neck is just unbelievable. YMMV.
What actually is that Wayne? Googling didn’t help much.

Wayne Charvel started another guitar company years after he sold Charvel to Grover Jackson. Wayne and his son Michael ran it until the Paradise CA fire burned their home/shop down. I bought the guitar used from our own Dan the Mailman (RIP) shortly before his untimely passing. Idk why he sold it honestly. It’s everything I’ve always thought Charvel/Jackson should be.

Oh, thanks man!

May Dan rest in peace 😢

Which Wayne was that? (RIP Dan)

It’s a Rock Legend/Natural Woody. Single humbucker (which Dan had removed and swapped to a DiMarzio X2N which wasn’t my taste so he removed it before shipping it to me per an agreement we made when I bought it), chrome hardware, Floyd Rose, maple neck/fingerboard. I think the body is alder or swamp ash, it’s not heavy enough to be northern hard ash. The neck is really the selling point. It’s wide, flat, and just perfect.
