Yes; I had some issues with the Decimator g-string in the loop of a Runt50 combo too; ground hum, noise, buzz, all that. I tried it with the as intended guitar in / guitar out cables, plus the actual decimator in/out. Since that was noisy, tried just the decimator loop and left out the guitar tracking part, still noisy. I didn't try it with just batteries though; might have to revisit. Might have been power supply issue; though I was running the Decimator from a Voodoo Mondo, which powers the whole board and none of the other pedals gave the amp any fits like the Decimator!
Totally silent with a Line6 M9 with it's own power supply that is plugged into the Mondo courtesy outlet or whatever that's called.
I also had a similar noise issue with a passive/non powered Ernie Ball jr volume pedal. I tried a bunch of different cables and switching power leads around, until I removed the volume pedal and the noise gate and used just the M9, and then it was fine, no more noise..
