Stumbled across a few Suhr humbuckers for sake locally for a good price.

Are you happy with your Suhr pickups?

I liked the Aldrich. An SSV bridge made a Sterling Axis go from muffled crap to a guitar I gigged for a few years.

Not a fan of most of them, but I love the aldrich and the thornbucker is great at splitting and plays nice with singles

Yep...

Killer pickups!

I have them in almost all my guitars....

The five in the back all have different Suhr pups and the Star on the bottom left has Suhr pups in it too...

Love them. Have them in my 5 Suhrs and have been slowly putting them in all of my non-Suhr guitars as well.

SSH+ in mahagony Modern is scalpel-precise. Some can call it generic or bland but it is Your playing, not the pickup ? It is exact opossite of for example Duncan distortion which plays almost the same in every guitar. Also it record extremely well, no weird spikes or overhelming frequencies.
Aldrich is little bit bloathed sounding but easier to play what seems more player prefer.
DSH+ is also great choice for trem guitars , juicier than SSH+, not as bass heavy as Aldrich. I put it recently in JP15 and it sound much fuller and organic tha ceramic Illuminator.
