I wasn't feeling the white on my Alt T, though I wanted to keep the guitar.
Would like a DeMartini someday...

Went for a blend, with a side of hammered brass:

Is that a decal / wrap? Looks good. I couldn’t do that to my Anderson Tele.

Snakeskin tele? Not a JAMES TYLER but dang that's still flipping sick bro. That hammered brass bridge is pretty raw too.

Hmm…they have some cool ones. I have an RG 570 parts guitar I just put together that I was going to paint. Might be cool. Was it hard to do?
It’s not hard, just time-consuming

It took me longer than I care to admit. I shot a video. But I’m really bad at editing stuff and posting.

I think if I did another one, it would come out better. I would trim it a little higher on the radius on the top of the guitar. But, I’m stoked with it and I’ll keep it on there for probably a couple years.

I think a guitar with a trem would be easier only because it’s probably rear mounted controls. Also, I trimmed mine around the bridge so I could still mount directly to the wood. If you have a Tremelo on an Ibanez, just take a Tremelo off and cut all that shit Probably very fast.

Like it best with no pickguard, tbh.
Maybe some black pickup covers would look cool with that. 🤷‍♀️

It looks really good. Never seen those before. Yeah this has trem and rear mounted control cavity. Could use some sprucing up,

200% agreement
But that’s what supported the front pick up so I went with it

Honestly, I dislike pickguards and I hate Telly’s but this guitar is fantastic

If the wood is thick enough you can use some standoffs and shorter screws then cut the springs down and body mount. 🤷‍♀️
I know the pattern isn't the same, but here's some ideas on what it might look like.
Find the brushed aluminum at the bottom pretty sharp looking.

Thanks, I kinda dig that Aluminum as well! Things to consider...

Go figure, no votes yet and you're the one pointing out options :)

Love it, what’s the story with the bridge and saddles?

I think that grey anodized pick guard looks badass, still keeps the focus on the graphic and blends in.

I’ll add that I’ve totally reached a point where zero fucks are given re refinishing an expensive guitar you already know you like...your Alt T was a candidate for me, I wouldn’t hesitate to get the right cheap(er) one refinished and would prob just do it myself, heh. I did score a 25th Anniversary Hamer Artist recently that will be going to Stike @ Rowyko for a wild metal flake job but any bolt on body is fair game for me to just paint.

I hear that Velcro.

The bridge saddle is one solid piece of brass with intonation machined into it. I also got the thicker / wider piece of stainless steel but that’s not required.

in all honesty, it doesn’t seem to be that big of a difference tonally, though it’s definitely doing something. My experience playing for an hour last night is that harmonics fall off of the guitar a little bit easier in random places than it did before.

Where did you get the saddle / bridge plate setup?
