Well in a nutshell the crux of islam is eye for an eye.
In christianity [excluding prosperity gospel fraud types] its suppose to be about forgiveness & love.
Its kinda hard to forgive someone that wants to cut yer head off.
I personally am non-religious but i do petition the God of my understanding regularly and it works well.
