The only Surreal amp I got to play in person was at the LA amp show a few years ago. Surreal PLEXI-WRECK and it sounded killer. Really 3D sounding in the room. Jerry was really friendly and engaging the day I met him. As for Kyle's video I would prefer the amp through a cab with G12M Greenback speakers or even a mixture of Greenback and v30s. His demo still sounded very good though.

I'd love to demo amps through different speakers, but my whole schtick with my channel to start was doing every amp through similar V30 speakers so each demo could be compared knowing the amp would be the biggest variable.
When I revisit some amps in the future, I will def be utilizing greenbacks, redbacks, creambacks and DV77 speakers as I've really come to love all of them.

I have a CM100 that Jerry build for me in 2018 and this amp is just amazing Jerry is very ethical to work with and can make the amp that you want no problem very knowledgeable in the amp world.
The clean channel in my amp is just great and the gain channel I order high gain for my type of playing that is only thrash tones bay area style, and he deliver very responsive and clear huge chords nice palm mute feeling, I will try to post a video.

Whatever happened to Jerry? I had an LC100 a few years ago. There's a Surreal amp listed on my local Craigslist right now actually.

The Illuminati is similar in ways to the Atomica but, it has only panel controls, no footswitching. Heres what it is. The clean channel is a superlead. The crunch channel is a 2203 and the lead boost is a finely tuned high gain machine. It also has tube driven reverb

I have a nice collection of amps and the surreal are very underrated amps at the same level of hopkins, ground zero, morin, cameron etc... I have all of them and the CM100 from jerry can keep up with all of those guys tones and with the same quality and feel.
