I don't see that... My guess is that they are probably playing a variety of covers and probably making some money.. Why would you assume that they are morons? The casino here pays $1000 to $1500 a night for cover bands like this..

Sorry but I just dislike 95% of cover bands, I don't mind tribute acts but not cover bands. I just find something hilarious about it being illegal to download a bands music but it's completely legal to get paid money to play other band's music. No disrespect to guys that play in cover bands if they enjoy it and do it well but I look at this picture and see a lame cover band covering songs in a really boring and sterile manner. Just what I see. I omitted the word moron as it was uncalled for.

I'm sure I would hate to sit through more than 15 minutes of their set but that shit does pay. My sisters band makes more money in a night doing the same stuff than my band makes in a year playing our own material for far bigger crowds..

I know a guy that plays in a 50s revue band and they get paid a fortune to play in Vegas and casinos etc and I can say that I would rather shave my balls with a dull straight razor than play in that band.

Once a year my buddies and I get together and do a tribute set or two of a band like Faith no more or In Flames or whatever and sometimes my death metal band will toss a cover into our set but I just couldn't get a boner for playing covers all year round, even if it was playing not shitty songs that I loved playing, I still couldn't do it. Just me though.

I'm sure you thought you were funny, but due to the old bikini threads where posts had bare butts and boobs hanging out, TGP got a "porn" site association online that kept people from logging in at work. My guess is that when you posted that you immediately blazed past the line the internet site sensors have for certain words.

And seriously, it says swallowed your gum. Be advised they have a new system for infractions at TGP. You only get a two week suspension per eff up, but after so many you're banned permanently. Might want to keep that in mind in case you're into selling/swapping gear.
