Synergy vs real deal - Fryette Deliverance

My problem is when a/b'ing next to my mesa mark vii, Marshall superbass clone and orange or15. They honestly all sound pretty close. The feel on the d120 stands out from the rest, but on a recording it does not. It's also the most massive head size wise I've ever had and $3200 could get me a quite a synergy set up. So there's all that..

Sounded great, both sounded good and agree if they were not labeled I couldn’t have told the difference.

Great video, cool tones. I’ve been on-and-off tempted to get the syn1 and Ultralead module, but I do already have a GPDI I run into a 2/50/2 so I guess it would be kinda superfluous. One of my top 3 favorite tones though.

My question is how is the "feel" compared to the real thing. I just bought the deliverance ii plus and it's amazing. However it's insanely large and I'm very tempted to return and go with the synergy stuff.
Feel is hard to define as it's amp dependent, and everyone has a different take on what it actually is.

I'll add two comments though. I'm with Blake - don't sell stuff you love expecting something else to replace it. And the power amp is responsible for a significant part of the feel / response of an amplifier. A Synergy module through a power amp with chunky iron is a very different experience to using that Syn50 thing.

Well said!

I would ask, how much does the feel of the Fryette matter to you? Fryette amps do have a particular feel and response and if you really love that, you will 100% miss it if you sell (I know I did years ago when I sold my first pittbull ultra lead).

Thank you for the info. I guess what I need to deliberate is the d120 vs the amps I already have. It's interesting how they can all be dialed in to sound similar m I was especially blown away by the or15. Articulation seems to be better than ever with amps, but it's still hard to beat a Marshall plexi/jcm with some pedals, which is my pricy dilemma..

Love my Synergy stuff! I dont have the Deliverance Module, but I do have the Ultra Lead, so not sure it is worth having both. The UL is one of my favorite modules though.
