Every Luxxtone I’ve played has been among the best necks and fretwork that I’ve tried. As for how many guitars I need? The answer is always more. :D I have 12 now and I probably play half of them regularly. There’s still more that I want. I’ve been talking to @LPMojoGL about wanting a hollow body but the thought of pickup swapping in one make my brain hurt.

If you tried my Tao T-Buckets you may possibly change your mind. They’re I guess technically super Tele’s, but very sleek playing and I guess actually don’t really feel, sound or play like normal Tele’s at all lol, but they’re awesome

This new 57 Jr is #1 now and will be super hard to rival, but usually superstrats are my favorites too, especially Marchione and Tao Super Tele’s

Everyone hear should have a good Tele. If used right I love it even for some metal and high gain applications too. I’m a huge Strat and super Strat fan also. I like all these flavors if it’s a good enough example. For me the best neck pickup tone is still a ‘50’s strat. It’s just magical

Yeah, the tone can't be denied no matter the axe. I had a 79 Greco EG550 that had this incredible low mid growl; it was pretty beat up but those usually are the 'tell' that it's a good one...it got played often.
I played an early 70s Tele at Dave's Guitar Shop that was insanely good sounding. Not for sale though haha

My partscasters, especially my pink one, are both absolutely insane guitars.

I'm debating getting another retroactive set for the pink one, but I'm probably going to wait until Scott tries his hand at tele pickups.

The bootstrap extra crispy are very good cheap pickups, but compared to the red guitar it just doesnt have the tele goods.

It is badass. That is why I bethrothed it to JBT. But rns, the Sunset Strip in my mij dinky hits.

It has a nice middy push with my Bassman, with the Jackson. I feel it's the ultimate "modeler" pickup. It just sounds great and responsive.
 
There are good relics and bad ones.

I’d say this is one of the latter. They really went to town on it and it seems incongruous with the rest of the guitar.

Also, a humbucker at the bridge on a Tele?

Have you thought about getting a reliced Fender Telecaster instead?

That said, if you like it, go ahead. The plus point about that axe is that it looks really playable.
