I owned a 2290 rack recently and have had the pedal for about a week. I don’t have them in the same room but they seem basically identical to me. At least the vibe of the original seems very apparent in this if nothing else.

Heck I even like the 2290 setting on the original flashback. Not a fan of larger pedals though.
Same here and the main reason at a certain point, I got a Flashback Mini next to my main home delay (=TC Alter Ego v2), just to get that un-chorussed 2290 tone.
But in the end still sold it, since they can't do a proper self-oscillation, like for instance the Ibanez DE7 can (and most analog delays obviously).
Still holding on to the Alter Ego V2...got the Satchel Pussy Melter tone print loaded, since it's quite a versatile and good sounding delay.

How’s the build quality? Is it going to last years?

I’m really curious about the SD3000 vs the 2290 pedals. Both seem amazing.

It feels solid. It is definitely not as high end feeling as the rack unit. But the rack units are 2k used now so that makes sense. The enclosure for the pedal is metal. There is an encoder on the right that is medium tier quality. It has light clicking when you rotate it but not super solid clicking--if that makes sense. The buttons on the face do not fully depress like on the rack units. These ones are more similar to a mouse click in terms of response.

I finally received my 2290p from Thomann today. The 1st one I received couple of weeks ago had damaged LED display cover and paint damage on the chassis but this one is perfect. Thomann handled the pedal swap very well so points to them for that. :) Will start testing it now! ?

How are You guys liking Yours so far? Any suggested settings?

Anyone know how to assign expression pedal to control the FX mix level so that when the expression pedal is in heel position there is no delay and in toe position the delay is as set in the preset? ?

I've made expression pedal adjustments as per directions on laptop screen when connected with usb,but never did for delay mix.

I Love the TC Flashback Delay. This looks cool. more than i need but cool.

Looks like it might not be doable without the editor. Here’s a video where the expression pedal setup is shown:

Idk..but you might get an answer on the tc users forum. But I'm betting you have to use thier editor, because you have to drag and drop, move stuff around, click on things and save the adjustments you made.On the editor, you can set 3 parameters to be controlled by an expression pedal- something my og 2290 can't do......these pedals are selling like hot cakes tho,so let's hope tc takes some fan and user cues and writes a full comprehensive owners manual.
