That it is! I actually love all of the John 5 teles. Feel like on his recent ones he did some mods that were actually inspired by a fan who asked him to sign his, which I thought was pretty cool.

Seen him a couple times now.
A few years ago the wife bought me a ticket to see him in Syracuse in Valentines night.
Behind the place was a strip club.
John ended up inviting everyone there after the show, I probably should have went…
Then saw him in Rochester with Jared James Nichols, that guy blew me away.

I will admit I like following him partly because of all the cool KISS memorabilia he has!

I really like the tele body, but the epic fail headstock prevents me from buying one. Headstocks are make or break for me, unfortunately. I think I could do one with a Strat headstock

I wanted one with white binding like Clapton’s Hyde Park frankentele, but I couldn’t find one.
It’s straight off my phone. Click the thumbnail and the pic is oriented correctly. I got the ashtray too. In a drawer. Wilkinson compensated saddles and a white pick guard ( original was black) but otherwise stock.

Here's mine.
It's the only guitar I've ever randomly picked up in a store that was so good I could tell after two chords that I'd walk out with it. Still have it, it's still great. It took me a while to come around on these guitars but man they've got a thing.

It took me until I hit 30s to appreciate the tele vibe. I still wouldn't list it in my top but now it really is the model I suddenly have the most of.
