His “best $50 pedals” vids are the best $400 pedals ten minutes after his videos go up, it really is a genius way of looking great by reviewing other companies while jacking up the prices to where it makes more sense just to buy the jhs version :LOL: :ROFLMAO:
 
I get a kick out of people directly blaming Josh for the people actually raising the prices. Dude’s got hundreds of vids on random pedals, unless he’s got some subliminal message in specific videos for people to raise the prices, it seems to be completely arbitrary which ones will skyrocket in price.

I also find it humorous that the dude is basically Ned Flanders in the flesh but people treat him like he‘s Satan incarnate.

I’ve seen it happen with a bunch of pedals, it’s been a long running joke in his comments how pedals 4x in price every time he makes a vid. He did a video on the top selling sweetwater pedals and the #1 by I think double was the behringer super fuzz which I and I’m guessing most others bought after seeing his vid. If I was a pedal company I’d be praying he did a vid on one of my pedals, that’s 400k subscribers gonna get a notification on their phone about it

Yeah, he’s pretty damn funny imo. I’ve watched a few vids and recently bought a couple Joyo pedals for cheap, after he gave them great reviews. They are indeed killer.
Bad Monkey? Please. Had one ten yrs ago, 20 bucks. It’s ok….but every pedal I have including the cheap Dano Fish n Chips eq is far better imo.

Totally agree. I traded the bad monkey for a NOS GE 12AX7 like 15 years back, I still think I got the better end of the trade.

Considering the GearTubers who rely on clickbait and free gear to earn a living, Josh is quite refreshing. I’m not sure I’d feel comfortable talking to him one on one just because I have a hunch he’s never heard the word “cunt” being used as a noun, verb and adjective in the same sentence, but being a gear nerd, I love watching the vids on the history of pedals/brands. I don’t get into the technical aspects as much, but hearing the evolution of things came to be is cool as fuck, especially when it doesn’t feel like a sales ad, even when he brings up a JHS Pedal take on whatever the vid’s based on.
 
I'm sure TGP will file a class action lawsuit against JHS claiming defamation of character for the "lawyer", "doctor" and "dentists" jab he made when comparing it to Zen Drive. Oh, and also for defaming and devaluing the Klon :ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO::ROFLMAO:
