The Cabs are too Damn High

i watch this shit like its my job. cabs are at a weird high right now. maybe its just inflation., but in the last 10 years they have had a lot of random price fluctuations that seem to last a while.

Yeah. It’s a struggle.. the real question is; what’s more important—— hot chicks or band mates? I guess best of both worlds is hot chick band mates. Imagine being the guitarist for the GoGo’s, the bangles, or the runaways ? You could blow through them like wild fire on rotten logs then be in the same position you are now but a few more notches on the ole weenie ?

I feel the same.

I've been shopping for a used mesa 4x12 for a while now, thankfully I'm not in a hurry to buy one, so I'm gonna hold out until I find a decent deal. While I get that the days of scoring a used one for $400 are long gone, I can't believe they're $1500 new!

I got mine in 2020 or 2021, don’t recall.
 
Cabs prices are crazy... $1500 and more for NEW 4x12's. I remember when I worked at GC you could get a used MINT 4x12 for $500 or less and if I remember they were $799 new.

I can't complain, I really lucked out and found a mkV 25 with the matching 2x12 for $1200 locally a while back. I like the cab so much, now I really want the bigger version.

The 16 ohm T4416 sound different than the 8 ohm T4335 for sure.
