I've heard if you have a Herbert & VH4 you get an Einstein free. Is that true, because I wouldn't mind having one? :D

I can do that....no worries. Shipping will cost $3299.00 ;)

LOL   :D
That's why I like this place so much .... :)

Duolos - no probs, man. I've heard that combining shipments saves money and since the offer is - if you have Herby and VH4 and getting an Einy for free, then it must be valid other way around, as well.
I have the Einy already - so please ship me a Herby and a VH4, and I will wire the 3299$s :)

So, with the herbert, having 6 power tubes, can you mix 3 different ones at once?

Has it 3 bias points? Or 6? etc?

Thanks again

Yes you can but I trust Peter Diezel on what sounds best for that amp since he made it.

One thing about the Herby I don`t like is thar CH2 and CH3 sound very similar to me. Only difference is that CH3 has more gain. But the amp sounds Killer and is very flexible.
VH4 is more agressive and has a VERY direct tone. And the 4 channels are all 110% juicy ;) Depends on what music/band you want to play and how many different sounds you need on stage.
But the most important thing is still the dude behind the guitar :D

What do they come with stock then?

I like the idea of a EL34/6L6 mix

Thats maybe why Peter made the +/- switch on ch.2. You can run gain in "-" at 3 o´clock and it will sound not similar to ch3. Ch2 with this settings is very brutal. I tried to dial with with a vh4...no chance. The deep end at "-" is amazing. It´s not as huge as ch2+ ot ch3, but it tight and very very dry.
