Just been reading about this film and I think I have seen it but, age being what it is, my memory is not saying for sure. Sounds like the type of film I'd go for.

They way he incorporated The Flood was sooo good. You're watching

it's both an allegory on the bible and an allegory about environmental devastation at the hands of humanity

oh also it's really fucked up, like a fever dream

The couple turning up and transgressing into the other couple's "Eden" sounds familiar. Of course, there is a very real possibility that I was baked whilst watching it. But, will be seeking it out.
