I played with a drummer for a while who was in one of Tramp's solo backing bands back in the early 2000s and he told the 'real' story.

Apparently Tramp is one of the most vile people ever and whoever he plays with sours them and in Vito case, damaged him.

Vito suffered a left wrist injury in 1997. That's why he stopped playing electric.

Maybe I'm mistaken about Vito playing there as it says he was with white lion till 2005. I don't remember the year that tour pulled through Mass.

I read an interview with Vito in Guitar Player quite some time ago. Vito said he severely injured his hand by over practising and that's why he had to quit for a while.
