I pretty much counted my boys down after their last couple albums flopped commercially. Their last album with John Bush as singer wasn't too good, at least I didn't like it.
On Worship Music my favorite song is The Constant. Fucking amazing song, Joey does vocals that make my hair stand on end, sounds like badass parts of State of Euphoria or POT.
Next is maybe Earth on Hell, yup THRASH! Just a ripping song. Next is The Giant, great song that has sections that remind me of STP, Alice in Chains, etc. Judas Priest is also badass, love the riffs, love the endpart too. Im Alive and In the End are pretty good if I am in the mood for it (a Tribute to Dimebag & Dio). Finally I do like what they did with Revolution Screams. Joey took that song up a level and I didn't like it with Don Nelsan but its much better now.

Don't like Crawl, Fight em, or the Devil you Know. Too poppy for my tastes. But they are very solid songs with really catchy hooks.

All in all I am going to go buy this in an hour or two. The songs I Like... no I LOVE rip my fucking face off. Must give the boys some money so maybe they can make another Joey album.

I AM SOOOO HAPPY TO HAVE ANOTHER THRAX ALBUM I CAN BANG MY HEAD TO! I really really missed Joey. I forgot just how badass Anthrax sounds with him. I swear they are playing tighter and faster these days too. Also Rob is bringing it with the solos this time.

Here is a bit of footage from their clinic/jam session. Its got Phil from Pantera, Dave Ellefson from Megadeth and Kerry King on Guitar.. plus the boys from Anthrax on various instruments. Pretty epic!

Almost forgot, Ian plays his new Randall module in the RM100 amp. I think he went to Dave Friedman and had him mod their 1983 module to Ians tastes. I think Rob plays a VHT Pitbull in this video.

Agreed. The singles released so far were pretty weak IMO, but there are some killer tracks on this one for sure. Surprised me actually.

Yup. I am digging on it big time. The iTunes version is very cool, comes with a couple "making of" videos.

I haven't liked pretty much anything since Joey left. I was a huge Armored Saint fan so when John Bush joined Anthrax it just sounded weird to me even though he is a great singer. I was so used to hearing him with AS and Anthrax with Joey that I just never got into it.

Guitar tone is good but not as good as the old records for sure. Better than the last few though by far. Rob has some real nice solos, I think they are pretty tasty. Joey sounds better than ever. Songwriting is very good, too. Charlie is killing it and Frank's bass sound is awesome. Jay Ruston did a great job producing this record, it sounds awesome but not overproduced.

Purchased and spinning. Like what I hear so far.

I actually like Joey's vocals better now than back then. I used to think he was too clean sounding. He's got some gruff on there now. Diggin' it.

I saw them on Jimmy Fallon last week and thought they brought it big time.
Going to buy the album now.
