IMHO the best-looking Triumphs were just before computers took a more-prominent role in the design process.

I'm talking around the turn of the century. I might check with my enthusiast buddy who's got 2 and confirm the actual year things started going downhill in that regard... in his and my opinion.

I mean, it's just an aesthetics thing and there's no accounting for taste. :dunno:

OK I just checked with him.

His models are around the year 2000 and he "guesses" the new M.O. kicked in around 2003.

Nice bike. Make buddies with a Ducati mechanic so maybe you can get a deal on the desmo services ?

That's a great looking bike but how the hell do you keep the front wheel on the ground riding that thing? Looks like it was designed to wheelie on a permanent basis and no doubt has the power to do it. I've never ridden a sport bike before.
Its easy on the StreetFighter, the crankshaft reverse rotates, its so easy to ride fast.
It would shock you how smooth the power delivery really is.

What's it got 110-120 HP at the rear wheel? V-Twin or is it one of the V-4 Ducs?
