In case folks don't see the other thread with my comments........I got to hear the Rebel yesterday :thumbsup:

Let's just say, I think they'll be selling a "few" of these.

Just unreal how it will suit many styles of play, from country and jazz to flat out rock! What a fun little amp. :thumbsup: :rock:
 
I was at the amp showcase as well and, even though I had already heard the Rebel, I was still blown away at the range it covered. No matter who walked in, the Rebel could do what they wanted it to. There was this guy doing some chicken pickin' Tele stuff, this other guy doing a lot of open string playing and some classic rock, this other guy doing more straightforward rock stuff, etc., etc... Everyone kept saying, "Wow, this is just 20W?!" when in actuality I don't think the Rebel was set past 12W all day. The thing just flat out rocks.
 
Gino, you just need to clean up that LP a bit and get you a Mod 50!! I won't mention your "current" amp......... :thumbsup: :lol: :LOL: :D

Yeah, he was pluggin' in his LP and I asked him about his pickups and he said they are just stock but they are REAL bright and I have to keep my tone controls around 4 or so.

Frank leaned over to me and whispered "it couldn't be the valvestate, could it?!" I about fell out of my chair.

then he plugged in to the Mod 50 and it was a dark fuzzy mess, so Frank walks over and turns all his controls all the way up and bingo!! Instant Rock!! :rock:

I had the most fun just watching and listening. So many styles and so many great tones, especially out of that little lunch box/purse size Rebel!! I loved it and so did many others.

This amp with E2 sitting on top will be awesome! Oh ya with another new item I can not discuss!
