Yes, unfortunately my current amp is a 100W Valvestate stack.
I'm making it work until I can afford something better, but right now I have little things to worry about like rent and gas prices. 
As for the crust on my guitar, if you had seen me after our last gig, you'd know why I didn't take the time to clean it... 
Soon I will be able to join you tonesnobs, with your up-turned noses and whatnot.

Actually I was a bit surprised at the tunes you guys play. I figured you "younger" guys play that ultra heavy metal stuff. You were rockin' some cool licks man!! And from the 70's no less.

Did one mod to the low end and it fixed the mid and top end issue. It is done finally. Now off to production!

I believe that's what he is alluding to here. Yes, that is an awsome thing.
I heard the difference with my own ears on the fly and it was significant. The 6V6's have that squished compression thing going on and the 84's jump it up with more bite and a bit more volume......whether it's perceived or actual I don't know, but it's really neat.
