I don't think this type of thing is particularly "fishy." What's so hard to figure out about it? You can name a bazillion of these so called "conspiracies" without even trying. That's just how it works.

In the end, everything is always about money if it can be, and people are always willing to go to great lengths to make it that way. With the way the economy works in the world today, government is just another branch of big business.
