And it looks good... One problem though, a piece of the pickguard cracked and fell off, exposing the top screw that holds the neck pick up in place. And one of the other corners of the pickguard is cracked as well, although it hasnt fallen off.

Really though, no big deal as the rest of the guitar is pristine! Im going to take some pictures when I get off work and send them to Patrice so he knows whats up. Hopefully he can send me another one.

Thats the Shea Stankafunk mod. Deal with it.

:rawk:

Well you know how hard I am on my guitars, Im afraid the neck pickup might move around, but I really want to use this for our SXSW show next week.

My boys first endorsement!!!

Freakin' awesome!!! :D

This guitar is so sexy too. The guitar was in a box, in a hardshell case, so Im really suprised part of the pickguard cracked off yet the rest of the guitar is fine.

BTW, the Vigier hardcases are really nice/unique. Its got latches on it that Ive never seen before, and the inside of it is a sexy blue color. :D

Sweet! Congrats Shea!

:picsorban:

As soon as I get off work they're comming, unless one of my coworkers has a camera... :D

When I had my Vigier they didn't even make hard cases. Post some pics of that along with the guitar.

Noice! Wierd on the damage though. Wonder how that happened?

You know, considering the box and the hardcase looked totally fine, Im thinking perhaps it had to do with cold weather and maybe pressure around the screws... Because both cracks happened right where the screws are... And the rest of the gutiar is immaculate!

Not sure if Im digging the Dimarzio Paf Classics though. They're almost too clear and smooth... Almost like they dont have any personality if you know what I mean.. I recorded some of our band practice last night. Hopefully Ill post a clip when I get off work.

That guitar rocks... While I can never figure out how a guitar gets damaged in a hardshell case packed in a shipping box, I have received enough messed up, brand new guitars to know anything is possible...

The pickguard replacement shouldn't be too bad, except you are going to have to remove the strings... I just wired a new pickguard (Hum-Single-Single, 5 way, volume, 2 tones) from scratch for a Kramer Pacer I'm restoring and THAT was a pain in the ass... Ugh... I hate wiring strat pickguards...
