If it makes you feel any better I quit reading the thread after the varicose vein story. If you haven't read that one yet, don't.I’m so scared right now, you don’t understand.

my man !!!!
I just got done test driving this thing into my Fillmore 50 ........ this is easily one of the best OD's I've ever built or heard .....
you are officially killing meI just got done test driving this thing into my Fillmore 50 ........ this is easily one of the best OD's I've ever built or heard .....
either side by itself is very cool .... the switches aren't just in the circuit for " bells and whistles " there's some nice tone sculpting and feel stuff going on
the way the clean works is super cool .... as you turn it up your pick attack becomes more prominent too ( can't wait to test this out in a high gainer )
the real friggin magic hit me when I turned both sides on ... which runs the blue into the green ...... HOLY SHIT ..... sounds absolutely amazing for what it's suppose to sound like ( a Dumble )
if you're running a pedal platform amp and want the Dumble sound ...... this is the ticket
If you haven't heard any of the gladio demos I would suggest giving them a look. Wayne's version and the features he's taken the time to integrate into the pedal itself it are just killer.you are officially killing me
i’m a sucker for an ultimate dumble pedal!
i’ve played a bunch.
at the height of his zendrive success, alf hermida was super kind to me and sent me a zendrive, distortion, and dual boost just to provide performance feedback and get other player friends of mine to try them, and if i wanted, to make some clips such as:
a few of my friends ended up buying zendrives including one limited edition wood enclosure one and a zen 2 which i thought was a bit tastier than v1.
i heard EJ prefers the 2 as well.
i eventually ended up swapping out the zendrive for an ethos od but still have the dual boost which works amazing in front of the ethos.
i’d love Wayne to check out my Ethos, Hermida Dual Boost, and a magic but discontinued SRV TS type OD with built in boost called the Klamac Arc Furnace (the Duellist killer!) to see what it could inspire!
my friend Neil from our church band who used to work at Suhr and was on the Voice with other friends of mine ended up with the Hermida Distortion. he loved its present quality in front of his Mesa Heatbreaker—quite a player!

yup Sampson era. Brian is a great player and used to own a mojave peacemaker too! His band was one of 3 playing at a concert at our church that night. i happened to have my Zen in the car that day during setup and he had been chomping at the bit to try one. Some great tones and playing in this post Mentoneman!!!
I'm guessing that was a Samson era Matchless? I used to hit this South Lake Tahoe jam when I was underage. It was great cause the host was a Matchless dealer so the backline was all those 90's Matchless amps. Some great sounds were made. Plus they never carded me=win!

I was looking at this all morning and realized you went above and beyond and put the clip switch on the front. I had forgotten to mention that. It controls the clipping (on the blue side, right?) I can't recall but I remember a few posts I read saying they had modded the amount of gain in newer versions and the switch lets you toggle between the newer style and the original. Very nice Wayne. I know you really went all out on this, can't wait!!!Our man Tim has been waiting a long time for his own signature Pedal ....
Been working on this one for a long ass minute ..... I took the Cornerstone Gladio and Gladio SC and made my own version ....
the Gladio SC is the Blue Channel .... and I took the second channel of the original Gladio and made it the green channel .
moved all the internal trim pots to the top of the pedal ... designed the I/O board to accept a 9 volt battery ( a must for Blues players on the go )
each side has separate Ins and Outs ( like the T.O.K. ) so you can run each side separate or put something in between the two sides ....if the inner jacks aren't used the Blue channel automatically runs into the green ... no patch needed
used all Vishay Film and Electrolytic Caps ......
put it in a big ass unpainted / gloss clear coated 1590XX enclosure with all aluminum Davies knobs with matching color LED Footswitches
Hope the fugger works ............. won't know till I get home from the day gig .... but she lights up ... so I have faith
