I’ve never once justified what Hamas did. I also don’t justify what Israel has done, while you do.
Do you think the Native Americans should slaughter your family in cold blood and get away with it? In the land that used to be their land? Or do you think as an American it's America these days? Because it IS AMERICA these days isn't it. And it is Israel these days isn't it.

That’s relevant, but ultimately not a great analogy. Native Americans have all the same legal rights as everyone else here, and the United States is not bombing Indian reservations. I’m confident that if Palestinians had the same in Israel, we would not be having this discussion. But that is not allowed, because it has been determined that Israel will remain a Jewish state.

So you think Israel should just say Que Sera Sera about Hamas killing them throw their hands in the air and say come and get us we won't do anything back. You think Israeli's are dumb prey animals like bunnies and just need to be food for the predators.

Yes not a great analogy but in that analogy, it would have been the Native Americans bombing American Cities not the Americans bombing their reservations. The latter might be the retaliation.

No, I think they should negotiate an acceptable resolution in good faith, and be willing to concede significant land or vision for what Israel is to be.

Yes Pre 1948. You think I don't get that. I do. The reality is now there is Israel - that is the reality. The Arab world wants to destroy it and make it cease to exist. It has been that way since it was created. They hate Israel. People like you want it to be reduced and for it to continually cede things. There has to be a limit and an end to that because really the Muslims will never stop wanting more. I hope Israel crushes them this time. What they have done to Israel is barbaric and the work of animals with no humanity.

This is not a moral argument. You dismiss the theft of people’s land, brutal oppression and apartheid and think it’s strange they’re angry about it and might resort to violence.

Say the Palestinians managed retake Israel — would you accept it and say, “Well, this is the reality now, like it or lump it!”?! Of course you wouldn’t, because you see the situation through the eyes of a westerner.

I don’t claim any easy solution, but violence and genocide is not the answer, either for the Palestinians or Israelis.

Angry is one thing - what Hamas did recently is another. They need to be lined up and shot for what they did.

Apparently they will simply say whatever is to their advantage to say.

And again, even if the hospital attack was a Hamas misfire (Which is obviously a stupid explanation), Israel is still killing civilians and committing war crimes.

Hamas actions have consequences for the people of Gaza.

People of Gaza elected Hamas.

Hamas has been in power for several years. Hamas has used every opportunity / and resources meant for the people of Gaza to build offensive and defensive capabilities resulting in blockades and inspections of all goods entering Gaza.

Hamas hasn't attempted to negotiate with Israel to find a common means for coexistence; Hamas has stated they want to eliminate Jews.

After the 7-October attack, Israel has been given a reality check. If a sworn enemy isn't interested in coexistence, and claims their goal is your annihilation, you have one choice for a response. The only question is: do the people of Israel have the will to do what is necessary for their own survival even though much of the world is against them no matter what they do?

They would institute sharia law. In your inability to place value judgments on religion it doesn't matter to you because spiritually you're blind. If I am colorblind the red bike and the green bike are the same color, therefore it doesn't mater which one you sell me. It doesn't mean they are actually the same color, it's just that your perception is all jacked up.

Who would institute Sharia law, and where? I never said Islam and Christianity or any religion is equivalent. My preferences, just like yours, are subjective. Furthermore, in many cases I’d prefer to live in a Christian culture than a Muslim or Jewish one. So what?
