dooredge is a liar, and flew off the handle before allowing Clint to rectify the situation. It was obviously a shipping issue with the carrier used, and clint even contacted Zach from Titan amps to get a replacement headshell.




on top of that he paid paypal gift to save money, instead of doing things the proper way. he is unreasonable, and a raging asshole who defamed/slandered Clint instead of trying to work with him.

Do you really believe a guy who won't answer text messages sent directly to his phone will acknowledge my phone call?

Also, I want everything said between he and I to be in writing. Perhaps he would answer my call, but I believe he owes me the phone call; not the other way around.

I've sent him 3 text messages since the deal went sour:

1st one sent 4/16/2012 @ 9:17pm (from me to GaRRy):
"Hey Clint, I am curious to know if your circadian rhythm is preventing you from replying to my pm's on ss.org?"


2nd one sent 4/19/2012 @ 11:38am
"I hope you are enjoying the hit your reputation is taking on ss.org. You continuing to ignore this isn't going to make it go away."


3rd one sent 4/20/2012 @ 9:12am
"Hi GaRRY, what's the latest? I am sorry for being a crybaby but what you did/didn't do isn't right by any stretch. Are you going to take care of paying for the new headshell? Yes or no? If not, send me a copy of the USPS receipt so I can file a claim. That's the least you can do."


I have not sent him any text messages since 4/20/2012 @ 9:12am. Any court of law that could/would subpoena my phone records could easily and truthfully verify this. I am not lying, you are. My age has absolutely nothing to do with this. Whether I'm 22 or 72 it does not matter. GaRRy owes me the phone call.
 
Sucks this happened man, but I for one want to thank you for posting this up. Just makes it easier on the rest of us.

Apparently he thinks it is funny too. Scum. By the way Zach, the owner of Titan took great care of the guy who got ripped off by this scumbag. Class act all the way, so at least if nothing else, we know who an honest builder is.
 
People like this get whats coming to them eventually. That is by far the worst packing job I've ever seen. Sorry to hear about this man.
 
Yeah, pretty much sucks. Things are coming together though I will have a lot more money in the amp than I bargained for.

You wouldn't believe the issues w/ this thing (aside from the headshell damage). The amp is currently w/ a mod/repair shop.

I have about $1500 in it now... (paid $1200)... going to have to put a new quad of power tubes in it as well as replace the preamp tubes as well as pay for the work that's currently being done to it. Definitely won't ever get my $ back out of this thing if I ever choose to sell it. When it's all said and done I imagine I'm going to have close to $1900-2000 in it. Should have just bought a new Peters Dual Channel and been done with it!

Hey, so I finally got my "Titan" back from the mod squad here in Central Ohio.

I put "Titan" in quotes as the amp is really no longer a Titan thanks to my friend O'Rourke essenstially gutting it and rebuilding the sloclone foundation. All in all here's the final damage:

$1200 for the head
$55 shipping to builder
$225 for the new headshell
$269 for new tubes
$150 mod/rebuild
$1899 Total

What a bargain!

Even though I was screwed harder than a prostitute on a coke binge, at least I now have a working amp and it sounds great. Thanks to The ValveQueen & O'Rourke for helping me get this thing up and running again. :rock:

I think it's pretty evident he has no plans to do so. This all happened in Apr-2012. But I am happy to haunt any sale or trade ads he posts.

Seems people I don't even know like to keep tabs on him as well.

Thanks to those ^folks who are just as disgusted by his lack of integrity as I am. :D
