There's a dude somewhat close selling a Marshall

That'd be a fun project and could be made to sound absolutely killer. That board looks like Ceriatone or Mojotone. I think you can still buy a real Marshall 2203 board. I'm not looking for another project and I love my real '79 2203. But this might be worth $1000 to the right person.

All the transformers look original, The amp could be a 1981 to 1984 as 1985 was the first years for horizontal input JCM800's.

The amp may sound very good even though the soldering and lead dress leaves alot to be desired. The other downside I can see is the amp is built with carbon comp resistors and GEN 1 Sozo caps which don't sound the best, they sound kind of muffled compared to Mallory 150 and the Synergy Royal Mustard and original Mustards caps. I had one amp with old Gen1 Sozo's in all the coupling cap and cathode cap positions and I pulled them out and installed IC MPW polypropylene caps and the amp had alot more clarity and bite.

It looks like the builder converted the MV circuit to a standard 1959 NMV circuit.

Again you may like how it sounds as it is and make an offer you think is fair for an amp with original transformers and is in decent shape overall. You would be hard pressed to buy the parts to build a kit amp for $1500 bucks these days.
