And continue to deny there is any foul play related to the deaths.

"Police said the man's body showed no signs of trauma or anything that would make them suspect foul play or that the man was killed."

So, lack of trauma=purely accidental.

All since 2022, 12 bodies:

Some of the people whose bodies were found include:

  • Ricky Parks, July 2022
  • Christopher Gutierrez, December 2022
  • Josue Moreno, December 2022
  • Kyle Thornton, December 2022
  • Jason John, February 2023
  • Clifton Axtell, March 2023
  • Christopher Hays-Clark, April 2023
  • Johnathan Honey, April 2023
  • Mogga Dogale, June 2023
  • Unidentified female, February 2024
  • Unidentified person, April 2024

I remember seeing clips a few years back and people trying to tell them there's a serial killer out there and now here we are and the bodies keep piling up

I don't see how you can have that many unexplained deaths and drownings there. It's in proximity to a night life area but you don't see people dying like that in strange circumstances in any of the other night life Austin areas and that would include dirty 6th where there can be greater penchant for violence. The cops seem in denial about the whole deal. Maybe they have some special investigation happening. It sure seems like someone is randomly targeting people or something to me.

Im sure it has some logical explanation.
Maybe some sort of initiation that went belly up

Yeah but the "initiates" are random people wildly varying in age and ethnic background. Some guy in his 30's reported being drugged and tossed off a bridge but he hit the ground not the water and so he survived instead of drowning. Tested positive for Rohypnol or some kinda drug for insomnia like that. Other people reported hearing someone bragging about it, drugging, in one of the clubs. There are some other similar reports of people being drugged down on Rainey street.

My guess is it's one or two dudes involved in targeting randoms with drugging or just people who are already very intoxicated. Could even be a bartender type. Spike someone's drink 30 minutes before your shift ends and then "get them an uber". Once it get late downtown there are a lot of very drunk people around. You could walk through the crowd and single out the lone individual and have an easy target. The stumblers and such. Since it ain't a sex assault motive and there are no specific types of people being targeted it would be hard to build a profile of the killer.
