Thinking about smashing a guitar

Man smashing a guitar or destroying shit in general is not something you overthink. I used to throw my guitar in the air and walk off-stage and let it feedback until the sound guy cut the feed and the monitor guy would have to turn the amp off. I've thrown shit off-stage into the crowd, toppled my half stack, smashed mic stands, mics, pedals, and any other fucking thing that was in front of me if the slightest thing went wrong during the show. Granted I bought cheap gear, but I used to have a hairtrigger temper and couldn't keep anything nice. I'm so glad I quit playing metal. If you really want to do something over the top, smash your guitar into the other guitar players' shit and pull the drumset off the riser. Works every time.

Ok well since it's Halloween how bout I dress up as Pete Townsend and then smash the guitar? Will I be vindicated then? Yeah, planning might be lame but who's gonna know other than me. Besides, there's got to be some kinda planning. I'm sure as hell not gonna smash up my LP Custom on a whim!

Since it's going to be Halloween, you should bring a sledgehammer to the gig and after the last song throw the guitar on the stage, put on a Jason Vorhees mask and and give it a few over the head smacks.
