Check out their forum, lots of help there.

Nice builds sir.

How do you like that countersunk TOM setup? Any problems with it, tuning or otherwise?

Stable as can be, no problems at all. I used the Tone Pros bridge with the locking screws.

nice guitars man, how much of a break angle is there on the string through body with tom bridge?

also, hows the upper fret access on the 24 fret guitars and in general ?

The string break is not bad at all, slightly less than you would see on a Les Paul.

Fret access is fine, nothing to worry about.

Wow I just noticed the TOM was recessed... What is their reasoning for this?

Had a great warmoth experience..I still gig with it every weekend.
It was alot of fun putting it together also, took me 2 days.
I would definitely do another , affordable and all the specs you want.

So you can do strat bodies w/ no neck pocket angle, if that's the sort of bridge you want to use.

That's kind of what I was figuring..

This ^^

And if you go with the angled neck, Warmoth angles the pocket on the body, not the neck, so any neck can be swapped out and work.

I am gonna be sticking with strat bodies so I wont likely be needing an angled neck. I am just REALLY comfortable with a strat in my hands for some reason, even for low tuned metal lol!

Anyway... I do have a build question that I neglected to ask earlier but I think might be one of the most important questions... Chambered or Solid body? I know of the weight difference which doesnt concern me... I like a nice solid chunk of wood... but since I play mostly heavy music, which would be a better choice? I read that the chambered body gives more resonance, sustain and fatness to the tone, but is that really good? I have a chambered 2013 LP studio... and I have a solid body mid 90s strat... I honestly can't tell a difference other than weight...

That blue Tele of mine above ^^^ is chambered mahogany, all of the rest are solid mahogany. It is a different sound and feel. I personally like the solid bodies for rock and metal. I like a guitar with some weight to it for that. That being said, the chambered body is nice for a Tele with all else being equal. I run EMG 81/85 in it just like the other two HxH Soloist bodies, and with that Tele style bridge and chambering, it has somewhat of a "Tele" vibe to it, slightly more open and brighter tone. But it is still a rock/metal guitar. Chambered bodies are slightly softer on attack when playing, but can sound slightly fuller. The major downside would be neck dive with a heavy shaft neck and chambering, more so on a Tele body vs a Strat body with the upper strap button would be closer to the 12th fret.

Solid Body it is then haha!

I use to use EMG 81/85 set for YEARS in my main guitar and recently got frustrated with them and switched all guitars over to a JB in the bridge and either a Jazz or 59 in the neck where applicable.

My big gripe was not getting that "natural" tone out of the EMG's... I tried the 18v mod, I tried all kinds of things mentioned on forums and never got what I wanted...

Here's that blue Tele in action with the EMGs. Sounds pretty good. :D
