I have always thought they were hideous but I'll be damned if nostalgia isn't hitting me so hard right now. All of my friends loved them and I hated them lol A buddy had one with the coffin case and they just thought it was the coolest. Not one of them could play or stuck with it. I did. All that being said, I could probably see myself having one for the novelty/memories.

Yeah I hear you man, nostalgia is a wonderful thing IMO because it commands such an emotional connection. Plus guitars can be ugly as sin and still kill it, not disputing that!
