Explain studio work? Are you just doing Youtube clips? Are you actually playing live with a band and getting paid? If you are then, perhaps it would be easier to justify the move to the new amp.

In my case, I am doing some work for PIxar again this summer. I'm getting paid to do it. Thus, the move for me to the Herbert is justified. I'm also playing a regular gig once per week/bi-weekly and getting paid so I can further be happy with what I am doing. Do I really need it, no. Do I want it, yes!

newer amps are like newer cars, they depreciate and if you are selling, you have to be prepared to take a loss.

I'm preparing a solo artist career. I'll start giggin' in the summer. I'm preparing my debut album right now. I wanna also venture into the radio jingle work (as a side job) as well as maybe recording a few mates/bands. so yeah, I'm going all in :)
 
Oh just go sell your kidney or a piece of your liver and get it over with. At least you will be able to sleep again
knowing that Schmidt is in your caring arms. :D
 
I sold both of my Feet long ago to Science so I could score that ENGL SE.....
