This guy could give MAB a run for his money..

Definitely not my thing anymore but that guy was shredding HARD. Damn man. Never have been into MAB but he is insanely talented and seems like a nice guy.

I mean he's really talented at playing un
musical sweeping really fast

It would have showed off his skills better if he did actual guitar playing inbetween the big sweep and shred runs

Honestly this is kind of an example of how little your chops matter if you don't have any musicality

Henning is better than him.

The link worked for me now. I agree with the unmusical part. As for skill vs MAB, I don't think so. He definitely has the speed itself, but it's hard from the clip to really gauge accuracy and evenness in the note spacing on the sweeps. That's what actually makes MAB technically better than most guys. MAB is far from being the fastest or the most musical, but one of the most accurate and even. Most sweepers are actually sloppy and uneven, like Jason Becker and Yngwie as some examples, but those guys have feel and other things going for them. Lots of guys can play super fast sweeps that are good enough to sound really impressive to most when really they are uneven and sloppy and you hear it if you slowed down the video on YouTube. My 2 cents on the topic
