Last time I happened to watch CNN (don’t have it at home) it seemed like a 30 minute informercial for the pharmaceutical industry with 5 minute “speculative news” fluff segments sandwiched in between. It felt like CNN was the commercials and the commercials were the show. “And that’s the way it wasn’t” is what Cronkite would say today

I know I'm going to ask my doctor about Tremfya....

I know I'm going to ask my doctor about Tremfya....
I'm not just asking about it, I'm demanding a prescription because I need it to live a happy, healthy life. The couple frolicking in a field and the old dude playing with his granddaughter in the commercial certainly look happy & healthy.

What's Tremfya for anyway?

Bummer. Lately I'll pop a 50,000 iu vitamin D when I feel like I might be getting sick. Has done the trick so far. High dose C is good for everything too.
Ya gotta be really careful with taking vitamins. Vitamin D has to be taken with Calcium or it doesn’t work and can be toxic and or lead to hypercalcemia. There’s a lot of extant data on Vit C. The body only processes so much and the rest is pissed out. Btw, I’m a retired nurse.

The conventional dogmas on high dose supplements is mostly untrue. That is because the pharmaceutical industry wants to maintain a lock on the market. You're right though about the risks of high dose D and hypercalcemia, but that's over extended periods and at extreme dosage. That said, I'm not a doc and this is the interwebs. Be responsible for your own health!
