This new Ibanez AZ Standard series is a lot of bang for the buck

I should have known better than to trust the ad copy on the Musicians Fiend site.

I recently did the same :ROFLMAO:. My husband bought me a Kramer that had no country of origin on the guitar, packaging, or materials. MF/GC says it's MIJ. Others say MII. 99% sure it's the latter and they never (possibly on purpose?) labeled the guitar or box.

Check out FGN Guitars for MIJ models close to that number though. (Fujigen's own brand). Not sure if anyone is carrying them in the states anymore (I was going to when I was planning to open a shop a few years ago), but many models around $550-700 retail.

I just can’t get into baked maple. It just looks too washed out and brings down a lot of body colors I see it with. It’s like a neck coated in mud.
That reminds me I have a NGD laying around somewhere I still need to open :ROFLMAO:

I get you. But they're cool with a rosewood board on top. They feel great unfinished and seem to be more stable.
