I'd like to get @SmuggNorris expert opinion on this PRS. He's pretty much the authority on private reserve stuff unless you go straight to Paul himself.

Thank you for the tag my brother from another mother and for bringing this thread to my attention. You guys are being too hasty, throwing this guitar under the proverbial bus just because it isn't your taste. I mean, look at that fine selection of body wood, the carefully selected hardware; that fretboard is to die for. If you could grind that guitar down into powder and distill it down to its very essence and sprinkled some on your head, your tongue would beat your brains out trying to get to it. But, who would grind that guitar down? Only a monster, that is who. It is pure art and unrivaled by the likes of a mere Fender, Charvel, or Ibanez.

I wag my finger at you PRS haters. I have Paul's phone number in my speed dial, would you guys like me to call him and ask him to just build you another basswood body superstrat with a wiggle stick and EMGs and coat it in poly like everyone else? How dare you guys berate my friend Paul so violently. He is a true artist and deserves respect.

GTFO..
Nice wood? Okay then. But they threw it on a CNC and glued it together like everything else..
No extra craftsmanship at all.
But it's hyped like you'll set yourself apart from the losers with a Super Strat which are better players anyway.. LOL
Fuck PRS PS. You elitist jackass. IT's not Rock, it's Lawyers playing lame stock blues riffs..

The issue is we are having an influx of TGP guys so let's treat our new member with the love and respect we all deserve. Smugg is a true connoisseur and probably has an ear for tone and eye for finely crafted goods as much as anyone on the forum. A few guys have indicated to me he is pretty tight with Paul himself so it's not surprising he is a fan of his friend's guitars.

Look, I understand the hate, I really do. People often hate what they can't afford. Just because I eat steak and lobster every night and wash it down with the finest of cognacs and you eat Kraft Dinner with vienna sausages and gag it down with the flattest of 3 week old Mountain Dew doesn't mean I don't appreciate the struggle to afford your Charvels, which I can only imagine are made out of recycled pallets. While I was waiting for my trust fund to mature, I had to get my hands dirty too, scrubbing my neighbor's Bentleys and marble statuary just to afford my first Tom Anderson.
