The Vox modelling stuff is really good IMO and the clip was really sweet.

My Valvetronix was my first amp and it is still a great amp just to set up and jam on.
I had a Valvetronix for a bit, they are great plug and play amps....I look forward to hearing the next generation of modelers from Vox, they have great feel.

What, no love for my Axe FX playing ass too?

:D

Great clip. Would also like to hear the heavier part.
Thanks...Here's a clip that's a bit heavier that I did a while ago.
Basically the same patch and guitar with the guitar's volume rolled back to about 7 or 8.

Dude, get a life.

And please, don't get anywhere near my ass. Seriously. I don't shove things up my ass, like you seem to.

I don't have any control over any threads on TGP, if you want them to pop up, then post on them. It's not my job.

Oh, and get a life.
Yo Scott...good to see you here! :D

Cool clip. Reminds of something STP would do. The Vox Tonelab is a great modeler. MUCH better than the Line 6 stuff IMHO.
I like the sound and feel a lot more over the Line 6 stuff too...old STP rules thanks!

Funny how he comes over here and posts a post that would be deleted over at TGP. :lame:

Freedom of speech is good...but can get messy.

I have had one for a little over a month and I really like it so far. I had a XT for a year and a half and just could not bond with it. I tried really hard to like it too. When I picked up the LE I didn't expect great things but I received them anyway! Fun unit.
Good you're digging it...I really like it. I always keep the VR set to 10 to get that tube feel happening with gain.

The only real problem that I have is that I can't get the Twin and Deluxe Reverb models to stay clean. They both get some odd distortion on the higher strings that doesn't sound at all natural for me. I don't really like the Dumble models either. Have you had any issues with those things?

hmmmm...I actually haven't tried them, but I like a touch of dirt on my cleans anyway. :dunno:

I'm just using the AC30 for clean stuff and the modern Marshall with AC30 cab for gain.

It's not the "good" kind of dirt that I am hearing. There is something fake about it up on the higher strings. Try them out and hit a couple of open chords. I can really hear it with a D chord.

I'll try it, I'm curious now.
If you have the VR gain turned up maybe that's adding it to the clean patch....maybe are you using really high output pickups?
I heard some guys say that they can get the Fender model very clean with the LE where as they couldn't with the older Vox floor modeler.
