Sounds great Adam.
I had a Valvetronix for a bit, they are great plug and play amps....I look forward to hearing the next generation of modelers from Vox, they have great feel.ToneFreeq89":1or6k678 said:The Vox modelling stuff is really good IMO and the clip was really sweet.
My Valvetronix was my first amp and it is still a great amp just to set up and jam on.

I should not have said that in your thread as one are not one to stir the pot

What, no love for my Axe FX playing ass too?
Great clip. Would also like to hear the heavier part.
Yo Scott...good to see you here!Scott Peterson":6eeldsyg said:Dude, get a life.
And please, don't get anywhere near my ass. Seriously. I don't shove things up my ass, like you seem to.
I don't have any control over any threads on TGP, if you want them to pop up, then post on them. It's not my job.
Oh, and get a life.
Just some bad noodling, but thanks.lamppost":2bbefclv said:Cool clip RVS. Your playing is always very tasteful
I like the sound and feel a lot more over the Line 6 stuff too...old STP rules thanks!danyeo":1bbrear3 said:Cool clip. Reminds of something STP would do. The Vox Tonelab is a great modeler. MUCH better than the Line 6 stuff IMHO.
Thanks! New job, moving in with a great girl, playing out alot....lots going on for me this year.AmpliFIRE":3m65ycdq said:Where you been Adam? Sounds great to me

Funny how he comes over here and posts a post that would be deleted over at TGP.
Good you're digging it...I really like it. I always keep the VR set to 10 to get that tube feel happening with gain.fek":1aedpo5c said:I have had one for a little over a month and I really like it so far. I had a XT for a year and a half and just could not bond with it. I tried really hard to like it too. When I picked up the LE I didn't expect great things but I received them anyway! Fun unit.

hmmmm...I actually haven't tried them, but I like a touch of dirt on my cleans anyway.fek":234o1tit said:Randy Van Sykes":234o1tit said:Good you're digging it...I really like it. The only real problem that I have is that I can't get the Twin and Deluxe Reverb models to stay clean. They both get some odd distortion on the higher strings that doesn't sound at all natural for me. I don't really like the Dumble models either. Have you had any issues with those things?

I'm just using the AC30 for clean stuff and the modern Marshall with AC30 cab for gain.
I'll try it, I'm curious now.fek":159ualll said:Randy Van Sykes":159ualll said:hmmmm...I actually haven't tried them, but I like a touch of dirt on my cleans anyway.

It's not the "good" kind of dirt that I am hearing. There is something fake about it up on the higher strings. Try them out and hit a couple of open chords. I can really hear it with a D chord.
