Thoughts on York KW 412 IRs

So I purchased the york scott henderson ir pack.

They sound good, but they do seem to lack tightness and clarity. Notes kind of blend together. I worry they won’t cut through the band live, but maybe this is a EQ issue?

Problem is when I go messing around with EQ I tend to just end up making it worse.

I do think they sound good though. Maybe some tweaking with the preset will bring them to life. You guys got some tips/suggestions?
 
I use a combo of mix 1 and one of the other 57/121 mixes cant remember which
also low cut btwn 80-100 and hicut w band 8-15

Just seeing if I can get people to weigh in on the issue of the York IRs getting buried in the mix
