386 running DOS on 28k dial up
.
I was just trying to be woe is me funny, mostly to myself. I know it's just due to background scripts I have running to trick newer versions of MS .net framework into allowing me to run certain things my way for a legacy software project in ways MS apparently frowns upon with VMs. The links and text don't actually load within the page, so there's nothing to click. Just certain blank posts. I'm used to it.
Not super stressing it as I can just browse with my phone instead or add to an exclusion list if it's otherwise server side/security issue. The links show in the console. So, I'm just being lazy but will have to solve the issue eventually in order to run the software on modern OS since the project has evolved slowly since W7. Pretty sure it's actually related to a video driver security conflict
since .Net Framework 4.5 that I'll have to adapt a workaround for. I suffer with it because otherwise I can't run the software and use the browser at the same time above 480p resolution. Which I refuse to suffer that.
TL;DR? Did anyone else use to sing/beatbox/hum along with their dial up modems?
