For a chance to win this well loved 1997 FujiGen built Crimson Swirl Kelly Bird (or gift card depending on your location) post a picture/cartoon/drawing/cgi of your favorite winged animal in flight. If you can also correctly guess mine(you won't find it looking through my old posts) and are the contest winner I will throw in an extra prize of my choice! The picture of your favorite AND your guess what mine is must be in the same post, I won't be hinting at corrections to entries or awarding points to incorrect formats from here out. Like I said, it's pretty challenging right? TL;DR? Read the rules. The case is not included and only used for photo background purposes. ❤️ Y'all and sorry for the long read! GL!

I am going to enter tomorrow, because I have to take a picture of my choice. That guitar will perfectly match my blue 97 MIJ Dinky, so I am putting some thought into this.
 
IN! Barn owl. These things are the winged ninjas of the predator world. Almost nearly silent and they’re uber cute too.

Sadly, my favorite winged animal can’t take flight. It is the Kākāpō. It’s an awesomely large parrot, that was treated cruelly by evolution and lost the ability to fly. This poor and unlucky bird is almost extinct with just 248 left in the wild. The British, in their colonization of New Zealand brought with them the predators that would almost wipe out the poor Kākāpō. They are critically endangered. Even though they can fly, if they are on the edge of a hill or small cliff, they can glide if it’s about 15 feet high or less. They are great climbers and can live up to 100 years, so they didn’t completely lose the genetic lottery.

So, I will have to post a pic of my second favorite bird in flight, the mighty owl. This ferocious and cruel bird of prey holds dominion over its skies and has even been known to rip the scalp from a human if it so wishes. Like myself, they are both nocturnal creatures of the night, and solitary most of the time. Stealth and silence are used to great success. Masterful birds that also look super cool.

I’m sure I messed up in your direction and instructions as one of the things I’ve heard repeatedly throughout my life from teachers, bosses, friends and family is, “a failure to follow instructions.”

I will guess that your favorite bird is the mighty owl. Or, perhaps the Tufted Puffin, or maybe, just maybe, the Tawny Frogmouth!!! Yes!! Actually, I will stick with the mighty owl.

I decided to post pics of the magnificent Tufted Puffin and the Tawny Frogmouth just to show how cool the Frogmouth is.

It's been decades since I've done any artwork, but doing the quick ink sketch and semi-calligraphy of my username from the other contest made me want to give it a go again. Since you've given some extra time for this one I want to do a sketch for my entry. I've got a lot of rust to knock off so I'll need the extra days.
 
This is great of you for doing this. Don't include me in the contest, I'm just posting a picture of my 10 month old macaw. Hope this guitar goes to a good home.
