That is new for me, the whole sync audio with the GP track (red) , with that done, I can loop slowed down sections (orange) until I get it not hearing crappy midi sounds but the real audio.. The trick is inserting controls points (green) : double click on the audio tempo map and syncing the transients to the GP tracks..

You can also downpitch the track (yellow) if you're setup in a different pitch..

The slow audio track isn't garbled mess but quite useable up to maybe 40% speed.

You can save that file as a GP file and resuse it as you want, the audio will be incorporated in the file

I'll have to try this, was just googling a few days ago if there were an easy way to. I figured since Songsterr does it that GP may have did it to keep up.

I have Guitar Pro, and LOVE it. I use it every day. But this is waaaaaaaay beyond my skill level, or really desire to try and learn something new. I have noticed, that sometimes when I'm jamming to a song on Songsterr, they've synced it up with the actual audio of the song from a YouTube video, and I hate that. I apparently find comfort in the midi sounds lol

I don't edit in it at all. I strictly use it to follow along with tabs and slow parts down if I need to. I've also used it to adjust the tuning of a song so I wouldn't have to retune but that's the limit of my skillset with it. Great for learning but agree it offers much more functionality than I'll ever use.

Also pretty frustrating Songsterr only offers subscriptions. I'd consider a lifetime access option but I don't like subscribing to thing indefinitely.
