Mark's not doped up. I go over there once in a while to hang out and see about the progress on my CCV. Mark's an inventor, a mad scientist. But he just can't do the assembly line of building the same thing over and over. That's all there is to it really. He needs a production line. He doesn't sit around doing nothing. Quite the contrary, every time I'm over there he's working on something. Very often it's something new and cool. He just can't stand to be on the same thing over and over. He's not an organized business guy. He's the creative force who needs a good business person behind him.

He needs to allow someone to help him. Find some trust and be allot more flexible. He'll surely find success and fix the wrongs. What's stopping him? A good contract Laywer will take him on contingency in a minute. I have to think their have been solid offers on the table with capital behind them. Investers know a gold mine when they see it.

I know Jerry tried to collaborate in the name of business but even he has had to gracefully bow out. I give Jerry major kudos in his professionalism and the manner in which he handled the situation once he realized it was not worth his efforts, financially, etc.

It's obvious what Jerry envisioned happening in the beginning is not going to be reality. He had very high hopes that have not come to light. Not his fault and not for a lack of effort.

Shouldn't he have thought about this before re-opening for business and giving false hopes to folks yet taking payment in full? He knew what it was like to build and mod amps, and if he knew he couldn't do it, why start? And, if he has all this time to mess around tinkering with something new, how about deliver amps that have been committed to in a timely manner?

I know a lot of people say they've gotten burned. Thanks to a few guys on here (Tony, Nick, Dave, Josh), I finally got my amp, but it wasn't my bag really and I sold it for what I bought it for and didn't flip for profit. But, he did deliver. Maybe the guy just needs a friend, not a swarm of people expecting something from him in return. Then again, he may be a total shithead.... Never the less, he needs to get his shit together for his own sake and unwind all this mess before thinking about anything else.

I think I may go skin up and roll me a big ass spliff right now. And, while we are on the subject, my Ocean Mod shipped yesterday..... And, I just had another JMP shipped today to Golub for a 2nd Aldrich mod. Got the Fortin yesterday and the Aldrich mod from Golub a couple weeks ago. Shit, I am swimming in a sea of Marshall's and fucking loving it. Where's my Ray Net and Spandex?

Mark's opinion is that using an assembly company is the only way to go and it sounds like a good idea to me. This company manufactures lots of types of electronics and I beleive does other guitar amps as well, so it should be a good match. Once Mark can get things rolling with them, amps will come out quickly.
