I was never into TNT in the 80's but I watched the video .
I think they sounded great was impressed with the mix and flow background vocals .
I have to laugh people post videos from guitar Hero's and bands that I like way more.
But they sound like shit and are mixed poorly and people worship them !!
I just think this was a good solid mix and they should be proud !

For the record, I was commenting that he looked cool in white in contrast to what everyone else is wearing... like ABBA meets Jesus... but hey fair enough, I'll own that comment. I guess his playing didn't live up to his looks?? lol Rig talk is the best because we all get our panties in a knot over this stuff.

Why is anyone a has been? Times change, music changes, people's lives change.. Why do you need to shit on people because their music isn't as popular as it used to be?

Its been said that they've made it and have a following. Most people in here are just splitting hairs behind their keyboards..

The Eighties called and wants it's shitty music back. Only on rigtalk! I love this place but jeez I can't believe this many people get this excited and worked up about some has been band from the eighties (not to mention a bunch of others).
Yeah I was born in 1971 started playing guitar in 1985 and enjoyed a bunch of the music from the 80's still worshiped here...but besides a handful of bands from the 80's I would never even think of these bands let alone still listen to their music and still follow them. It's over guys going on 25 years now (the 80's that is)

Alright flame away! You know what they say about opinions................I've got one too!
Oh I forgot, Dude Ronnie looks great in white but is an absolutely horrible lead player WTF!!! :hys:

I agree, the music is dated but it is still fun to listen to. This is a show that highlights different bands each episode. They are touring to promote the 25 year anniversary of Intuition. Either way, I enjoyed the performance.

Keep in mind that this is just one of hundreds of threads here at Rig-Talk. It is easy to find threads on topics that interest me. I tend to not even go into the threads that don't (let alone post a comment in one). Lots of the guys that like TNT or other bands in the same vein like other types of music as well. You have always seemed like a cool guy so I am sure I am not telling you anything you don't already know.

Yeah you have a great point in your last paragraph, and I should of just kept my mouth shut, I'll admit it was hyphocritical as well because I don't appreciate when people shit on threads I'm interested in. Sorry guys! I passed over the thread several times yesterday and finially got bored enough last night to click on it. I'm probably just secretly upset that there is not more praise of the rock and metal of the 90's which I'd rather relive

I enjoyed the backup singer closest to the camera very much  ...much more than the band ;)

I hope you didn't take that as me chastising you. I like it all (70s, 80s, 90, 00, and now).

Not in the slightest, your post just opened my eyes to my own hypocracy

King of Seven Seas. :m17:

I just listened to this.. The mix sounds excellent. Very well produced.

high on nostalgic value for me.
i loves that intuition record so much when it came out.

Wow, dude can still BELT it out. But dafuq was the guitarist wearing :S

Thanks for posting this one.
Harnell sounds great and the mix was excellent, IMO.
I liked Ronni back in the day and he has a style that is appealing, yet can get old quickly.
Plus he is a bit stuck in the fashion sense...then again so is Uli Jon Roth, lol.

I think it was Mark Day that was saying Harnell used to "over-sing" the high voice...granted, yet he sounds great here!
I always liked 10,000 Lovers, great tune. Tell No Tales album was sweet, circa 1987.

My favourite TNT tune. Yes, I like them alot.
Yes, Ronni likes white...

the thing that makes their live show less attractive is the lack of ronnie's rhythm tracks under the solos.
they do sound kinda silly without a proper rhythm guitar track(s) mixed under them.
and his faces....yoiks.

the female singers REALLY helped though.
