To Multi-Scale or not...

So I am thinking about picking up a multi-scale guitar. Specifically the LTD M-1000 MS. The idea of having a guitar with a 25.5 scale and a 26.5 scale is very appealing. We play in Drop C# and I have been considering Drop C for some time now. I would hardly call what I play as modern metal. More like hard rock. My concern with this guitar is the Duncan Nazgul. I'm wondering if it will work for what I want to do. I have the non slanted version of this pickup in my 27.7 scale baritone, and it sounds good there in Drop B. I have tried it in my Les Paul, and was not thrilled with the results. Since the pickup is slanted, it limits my options in the aftermarket pickup selection. Would love some thoughts and opinions...

Hated the Nazgul, love Multiscale. The Nazgul was in an Agile though.
 
I have a strandberg 7 string. I can go from that (multi scale) to my other guitars and there's virtually no adjustment. Love that guitar. Very easy to play. Very even across the strings. Thumbs up for multi scale. No input on the Nazgul. My strandberg has Fishman's. They're OK. Not great. Bare Knuckle with make slanted pickups. If you love the guitar but not the pickups, surely something in that catalog could be made to work.
 
I don't think I'll ever own a normal scale guitar again after getting use to multi.
Love the Strandberg which is basically a Les Paul scale on the high E
fanning to a Strat scale on the low E. Works great with 10-46.
 
Multi-scales are becoming more appealing to me. My main tuning is Drop-C and while I quite dig the tension I get with a 25.5 guitar and 10-52’s, there’s some areas within that that I wouldn’t mind some adjustments.

Almost bought a multi-scale Spector bass at the start of the year, but I chickened out on the price, but it was mainly because I was having a nightmare of a time getting a bass to sound great in drop-C tuning. My 5-strings were just mud in the low end. Got a Spector Pulse and while it’s only a 34”, it fucking owns.
 
I have a GNG FF and an Oni A-Type with the E scale. Great, great guitars. I have had other MS guitars. Easy to play and no adjustment needed for me. Go for it
 
For me MS is just more comfortable. You don't really notice it until you have one but the one thing that I cant get into is the angle of the first fret. Ive played 2 MS and both had a 2" angle i believe. I would want one with 1". That first fret is a mofo for me.
 
I had a Strandberg multi-scale (sold it, but it was decent)... easy to play with near zero adjustment (took 20 minutes to get used to it). A little more finicky when playing chords in the top position, but otherwise...
 
I'd check out a production Ormsby. A multiscale always was interesting to me as a 7 string player so I dipped my toe into these with an Ormsby GTR 7 after reading reviews and joining their facebook group. For about a grand used, it's a huge value. Now I've got rid of most of the GTR's and have several of their custom shop builds with 2 more on order. Great company and very responsive, even though they're in Australia.
 
Well, I decided to hold off on this particular guitar for the moment.
 
I tried a friends multi scale guitar, it was great I can see it getting more popular with players
 
For hard rock drop C# and dropC multiscale could still be cool but not really needed- multiscale really helps with deeper tunings. That axe you're considering looks cool, but at that price level I would also look at a Kiesel AM
