A good example of dialing in tones that really fit the song.

Jeff Healy performing " see the light" on a show called night music in 1988.

The guitar solo has killer tone. I don't know if it's Joe or Brad playing it.

Billy was great at getting hard rock tones using Fender guitars. This one has one my favorite guitar solos.

Best Beatles tune ever. I love George's tone on the 12 string solo.

This tune fucks. I've loved it ever since it was released. George Harrison wrote this one for Ringo. Who played the solo, Ringo or Clapton?

The acoustic guitars sound like a bunch of angels and the lead tone is sooooo sweet.

McCartney played guitar on this one. That riff sounds tough. I wish I could figure out how he got that sound.

If you ever get the chance to see Ian live ( Big Wreck)....totally mind blowing. I wanted to throw my gear in the trash after hearing him and seeing just how easy it is for him:

Given the event that's happening today, it seems only appropriate to post this band. Great album ("Bleed & Scream"), songs, riff/solos, and of course, tones that make you go "Whoa!"

Right after the release of this album they played a small club in NJ where my friends band opened up for them. Reb killed during the sound check. I remember thinking shit, this guy has got game.

Yeah, Reb's playing is FIRE. He's a true original.

It was a great gig for my friend. The sound guy was pissed at Kippy. Gave my friends band the whole PA and shut the power off while Winger was playing. Kippy was not happy.

First time I heard Wyld Stallyns
