You will love the VH4!! I was nervous about spending that much money on an amp BEFORE trying one but soon as I fired her up, OMG!!

Good shit bro!!!!! again keep the presence at 11 :) if you need crazy bottom end and still tight, back up the bass and push the deep :)

Volume: 12:00 - 1:30

yeah I head someone say to put master vol up to noon-ish then adjust channel vol.
not sure if the older VH4 were this way but every damn channel us super, whereas some really only dug ch 3.
ch 1 clear as a bell
ch 2 is jtm - jcm 800 gain territory
ch 3 is punch in the face
ch 4 is punch in the junk

This is insane loud lol I can't play at the volume! I have an APT in NYC. I don't want to destroy the building and get lucked up ! I always keep my master volume 10:30 and channel volume at 8:30 to 9 o'clock :(

Kinda defeats the purpose of having a monster like the VH4. But Diezels have good master volumes. You need the channel volumes up close to noon to drive the power section enough to get the amp signing. But experiment with high volume, low master vs low volume, high master.
