Ah just looked up the Reload. Seems cool and I understand what you mean now. And u can use it with PI 101, which I haven't checked out yet. Cool!
Yeah. I figure worst case and I need to run something FOH, just pick up the C.A.B. and run the Reload amp DI to it and just use it as a load. That would be a bit more expensive than just the Live, but if you need to attenuate and still like using the tried and true cabinet, it would be a nice setup. :)

Whichever way you want to go, looks like Two Notes has the tools. Some very well thought out pieces of gear here for digital routing, at home, in the studio, or live.

Indeed  and to be able to use a real amp head in an Axe fx sort of way, simple recording and different cabs/mic placement. I haven't even had time to dive into Eq or making/downloading IRs

Haven't downloaded anything yet, either. Probably won't. I am happy enough with the Brit V30 cab and SM57 mic with a bit of EQ. Let the soundman do the rest. Too many choices and the brain gets mushy.

You would be amazed to learn how many pro touring band use this solution. ;-) Axe FX as an FX unit or others (G-Force, various Eventide...).

If my goal is to bypass a cab altogether for live use, I don't know what Reload will do for me that Torpedo doesn't.

In this case, apart from the mutli-impedance choice on the Reload, there is nothing more in a live situation, and the Reload does not have the cab & miking simulation.

Thanks....I'll probably pick up a Reload anyway, just because I am digging these tools for the digital toybox. Great stuff and innovative solutions without breaking the bank.

My cabs may become obsolete and being very heavy amp stands. The Axe FX is cool. This is way fucking cooler..... :D

I've been telling you this forever ;)

Getting rid of some of these cabs does sound appealing ...not so much the weight / it's the size ...
